We have a site survey of the VA water tower scheduled for Friday afternoon. We will send up a drone with a Meshtastic node on it to check out the site and send some range test messages.
The VA Hospital is looking at starting a radio club. This will be to serve Veterans in the area and provide radio services for the area. The water tower is being looked at to host radio equipment for the future club. This may included a GMRS & HAM repeaters, a remote radio station, and Mesh Nodes.
We are very early in the process but hope to be moving forward this year.
